Hero Header
Headline
TIP: Focus on what they will GET if they work with you / use your products
– eg “Fill Your Fridge With The World’s Freshest Groceries Every Week”
Subheading
Optionally use a subtitle to provide extra information
– eg “The perfect shopping solution for busy families, fussy eaters and health-conscious households”
Hero Image/Video
This image or video should align with your brand and reinforce that the visitor is in the right place.
A good idea is to use visuals that either show your product in use or show the outcome of your services.
About You / Your Business
Your ‘Elevator Pitch’
In as succinct an exciting way as possible, answer the question “who are you, and what do you do?”
A good template for this answer is “We help [someone] to [do something] so that [positive outcome]” or “We help [someone] to [do something] even if [things that usually stop them]”
Note: This text may also be repurposed to appear on your About Page, footer or sidebar if applicable.
Key Benefit Statements
What are the most important advantages/gains that people get from your offer?
Try to make these as short and succinct as possible and summarize the most interesting or most important benefits. This section is designed to pique people’s interest and convince them that they want to know more about how you can help them!
TITLE OF BENEFIT (1 to 5 words max) – eg “Ready In Under 30 Mins”
SUPPORTING STATEMENT – eg “Our recipe is so simple to follow and our method so thoroughly tested that even the most inexperienced cake chef is sure to finish their cupcake in less than half an hour.”
NOTES:
- If you would like to include images to go with these benefits, you may do so in the next question)
- We suggest adding up to a maximum of 3 or 4 benefit statements (if you have more to share, that’s great, you can save them for the About, Services or Product pages instead)

(Optional) Images for Benefit Blurbs
If you have images to go with the short benefit statements / paragraphs above, you may upload these here.
Featured Products/Services
What should we feature here?
Use bullet points to list the titles of 1 to 5 products/services (and let us copy the detail from another page)
or
List the product/service titles in bold AND write your own one-sentence summary to go with each
Let’s Pause to Reinforce Our Point…
Reinforcing Statement
This is a sentence or quote that should drive the point home for the viewer.
EG: “This exact recipe has been used in our world-famous bakeries for over 10 years – and now YOU can bring The Giant Cupcake to life in your own home, no experience necessary!”
Social Proof
Social proof is also great for reinforcing your message!
For this section, our goal is to showcase something that helps support your offer – eg:
– a client quote
– copy of a google/yelp review
– some impressive results
– or even just facts & figures from your niche that help demonstrate your point.
Optional Elements
- Latest Social Posts (FB/IG/TW feed)
- Latest Blog Posts
- Team Bios
- More Testimonials
- Excerpt of About Page
- Infographic / Other Media
Call to Action
Closing Argument
This your ‘final chance’ to communicate the benefit of your offer and to convince your reader to act!
- Typically this is a rewrite of your hero statement (above) or your call to action (below).
- It is usually just 1 or 2 sentences long – make it succinct and exciting!
- PRO TIP: If your visitor reads nothing but your hero statement, reinforcing statement, closing argument and call to action, in that order, they should have everything they need to know, to make a decision!
- FYI – The closing argument may not be strictly necessary on shorter pages where the reinforcing statement (above) is still visible. You can trust us to make the best design decision once we have received all your content.
Call To Action
This is a short action statement that can act as both a heading title and a direct command.
eg – “Download The Recipe Now”
or – “Get Your Cupcake Started!”
CTA Button Text
eg
– Subscribe Today
– Download Your Copy
– Request a Quote
– Book Your Spot
– Ask Me How
